HydroDog was first established on the Gold
Coast In 1994 with its first franchise granted in 1996. It has since
grown to be Australia's No 1 choice for dog washing and grooming.
HydroDog has featured in BRW Magazine's 50 Fastest Growing
franchises 3 years running. Only 7 other franchise systems can make
this same claim. With 950+ franchises throughout Australia, this is
a mighty achievement for HydroDog.
The company was founded on the principles of not only being the
best, but also the biggest. We strive to use 'best practices' in all
areas of HydroDog's business and continue to research new
technologies, new products and new areas of customer service. |

saving our customers both time and money.
HydroDog was first established in Queensland in 1994. The first franchise was granted in 1996 on the Gold Coast. Today there are 7 master franchisees and over 160 franchisees operating Australia. HydroDog franchise owners provide a clipping, washing and total pet care service from distinctive, highly visible unique mobile salons. HydroDog is a one-stop dog care facility.
HydroDog comes to you fully equipped with a hygienic Hydrobath, skilled operators and our range of high performance products. All we need is access to water and electricity and we do the rest! HydroDog also has full insurance cover.

Franchisor, Martin Rose |
For more than 15 years Martin Rose was the Victorian Franchisor for New Zealand Natural, an international ice cream parlour chain. During that time he was responsible for the development, not only of the business in that state but was actively involved in the development of the franchise and retail concept.
After selling that business (and seeing the light!), he did consulting to a number of retail and franchised business until buying HydroDog.
Martin's vision for HydroDog is to see it develop not only as the leader in the Mobile Dog Grooming industry; but to also ensure best practices in Franchising.
Martin prides himself on his commitment to driving HydroDog's growth while ensuring the continued success of all franchisees. |
Marketing Manager - Janie Rose |
Janie Rose worked in marketing and corporate relations for Village Roadshow Ltd for a period of 10 years. During this time Janie was actively involved in all aspects of the company including the marketing of movies; theme parks and cinemas. Previously, Janie worked in the television industry again in the marketing arena.
Janie's role in HydroDog is primarily the creation of new marketing materials and servicing Master Franchisees with all their marketing needs while also handling prospective franchisee enquiries. |
