Paul Mimnaw, Master
Franchisee, South Queensland is the Master Franchisee for HydroDog South Queensland. Paul looks after the
area from Rockhampton, Qld to Ballina in Northern NSW and currently
has 50 franchisees in his area.
Paul joined HydroDog in 2003 after a career in senior management
positions in Energex and Shell Australia that included Government
relations, marketing, finance, accounting, and franchising.
Paul felt completely unfulfilled in the corporate world and
decided that getting out and becoming a master of his own destiny
was what he needed to do.
To ensure that he knew exactly how the franchise system works,
he operated a HydroDog mobile dog grooming business for the
first seven months of his Master Franchise. Paul's focus and
responsibility is now on marketing, placement of new franchisees
and ongoing support of the franchisees in South Queensland.
Paul also works closely in training new franchisees, territory
development, local advertising, product supply and providing
complete backup for his franchisees.
Since leaving the corporate world and joining HydroDog, Paul
has really found enjoyment in operating his own business and
making decisions to move the business forward, whilst also having
the experience of the franchisor's to fall back on when necessary.
The business support is excellent with head office providing
encouragement, backup and ongoing product and business development.
All the people in HydroDog are passionately involved in all
aspects of the business which provides a fantastic support system
and the ability for the development of new and innovative ideas.
Being involved in HydroDog is very exciting with the prospect
of continued growth to build the HydroDog brand into the most
successful and respected business of its type.

Neville Mader, Master
Franchisee, Western Australia We bought the WA Master Franchise in September 2005. Since then, I have had
a hectic time washing and clipping dogs, while selling franchises.
We have 13 franchisees currently and another one just coming
into the fold. I will be doing less washing and clipping in
the very near future, to concentrate further on supporting HydroDog's
expansion in Western Australia.
Prior to HydroDog, I had a varied career largely revolving around
the Navy and commercial and military diving. This prepared me
in many ways for HydroDog in that I am quite accustomed to being
wet and the companionship is not dissimilar! I look forward
to my second year in HydroDog with the aim of making HydroDog
into a household name.
I am married with a 14 year old daughter.

John Foley, Master
Franchisee, Central Coast NSW and South Australia I worked in a food processing plant and had done for the last 20+ years doing
shifts. I decided I needed something different that I would
enjoy so I bought a HydroDog Franchise. I was so impressed with
the HydroDog system I then bought the Master Franchise.
I started in the HydroDog family, along with my wife Sonya,
in November 2005 when I bought our local HydroDog franchise.
I quickly built the customer base, and grew the business to
just under double the earnings in the first few of weeks. We
were so enjoying the lifestyle we decided taking on the further
challenge of The Master franchise of Greater Northern N.S.W
from July 2006. We are currently have 15 Franchisees - but you
''aint seen nothing yet!

Colin Dearing, Master
Franchisee, Central Coast NSW and South Australia After a number of different career choices mostly focusing on retail, the opportunity
to run my own business in the form of a HydroDog franchise was
very attractive.
After purchasing a franchise that operated on the NSW Central
Coast, the opportunity to buy the Master Franchise for the area
arose. After washing dogs for a time, enjoying it thoroughly,
and realizing this could be a great opportunity for others who
wanted to own their own business, my business partner and I
decided the Master Franchise option was a good one. We have
steadily increased the number of franchisees in our territory
over time and are very excited about the numbers and the reputation
of HydroDog in our area. I look forward to working with John
Foley now as our new partner in the Master Franchise of Greater
Northern NSW and expanding even further into territories that
we do not, as yet, have a presence in.

Melanie Mula-Lodi & Claudio Lodi, Master Franchisee,
ACT/Central, Southern & NSW West
Having found each other a little later than we would have liked, we decided
to take control of our time and our lives. After more than 20
years with the same government department, Claudio wanted a
new challenge. Melanie felt like she wanted to work, but not
sacrifice her time as a Mum. We tried to find something we could
do together, something we could call our own. Then our groomer
mentioned she was selling her franchise, and all the pieces
to our puzzle fell into place. We both love animals, and thought
about becoming groomers in the past. We started our franchise
in April 2006.
As soon as we started we realised that Hydrodog was the best
out there. We work alongside great franchisees; we have the
best purpose-built mobile salons on the road and a job that
was just plain fun. We knew that this was something we wanted
to help promote and share, and so we became Master Franchisees.
We want to see those Blue Dog mobile salons everywhere, and
know that our franchisees are as happy and successful as they
can be.
