Paul Mimnaw, Master Franchisee, South Queensland

Paul Mimnaw, Master Franchisee, HydroDog South Queensland

is the Master Franchisee for HydroDog South Queensland. Paul looks after the area from Rockhampton, Qld to Ballina in Northern NSW and currently has 50 franchisees in his area.

Paul joined HydroDog in 2003 after a career in senior management positions in Energex and Shell Australia that included Government relations, marketing, finance, accounting, and franchising. Paul felt completely unfulfilled in the corporate world and decided that getting out and becoming a master of his own destiny was what he needed to do.

To ensure that he knew exactly how the franchise system works, he operated a HydroDog mobile dog grooming business for the first seven months of his Master Franchise. Paul's focus and responsibility is now on marketing, placement of new franchisees and ongoing support of the franchisees in South Queensland. Paul also works closely in training new franchisees, territory development, local advertising, product supply and providing complete backup for his franchisees.

Since leaving the corporate world and joining HydroDog, Paul has really found enjoyment in operating his own business and making decisions to move the business forward, whilst also having the experience of the franchisor's to fall back on when necessary. The business support is excellent with head office providing encouragement, backup and ongoing product and business development. All the people in HydroDog are passionately involved in all aspects of the business which provides a fantastic support system and the ability for the development of new and innovative ideas.

Being involved in HydroDog is very exciting with the prospect of continued growth to build the HydroDog brand into the most successful and respected business of its type.

Diane Ward, Master Franchisee, Far North Queensland & Northern Territory

Diane Ward is the Master Franchisee for North Queensland (Mackay north) and the Northern Territory. She lives near Cairns with her beloved human family and her two inspirational dogs and a cat. Diane became a Master Franchisee in 2004, after years of working in nature conservation. Having operated her own HydroDog franchise, Diane understands that there are special challenges for our furry family members living in the hot wet regions of tropical Australia. She loves nothing more than helping her dogs to feel cooler and more comfortable through thorough washing and grooming. Diane now supports 8 hard-working franchisees and also runs her own five star dog boarding facility in Kuranda. She aims to expand HydroDog in Townsville and introduce our services to Mackay over the next 12 months.

Scott & Janine Hoffman, Master Franchisee, Western Australia

Neville Mader Scott Hoffman is the Master Franchisee of HydroDog WA. Scott joined the HydroDog team in 2009 after 16 years owning retail stores in the telecommunications industry. Scott was looking for a change of lifestyle and chose to join HydroDog because he saw a bunch of people who are passionate about what they do, are having fun and making money along the way!

Coming from the extremely competitive industry of telecommunications, Scott understands the importance of joining the best in the industry, which is another reason he chose to join HydroDog, the number one mobile dog grooming franchise in Australia.

Scott uses his skills of building and running successful businesses over the last 16 years to assist the WA team members grow their businesses and reach their own personal goals from owning their HydroDog business.

Scott runs the WA Master Franchise with wife Janine. Scott and Janine are thrilled to be a part of the HydroDog family. They now enjoy changing people’s lives by helping them get into a business that provides flexibility, lifestyle and great cash flow while getting outdoors and pampering the furry family member.

Before being introduced to HydroDog I held numerous management roles in various retail environments, and for a long time was managing bakeries utilising my skills as a qualified pastry chef. After learning much about sales in the home loan industry, a master franchise was a natural progression for me and HydroDog impressed me as a fast growing franchise with a great image and huge potential.

I initially bought the master franchise of Greater Northern NSW, ranging from the Central Coast in NSW up to Ballina in Northern NSW. This area had one franchisee in it at the time of purchase in 2004. In 2007 I bought the master franchise for SA with 9 existing franchisees. Both areas have rapidly grown to their current size of about 45 franchisees and continue to grow quickly.

I believe the success of HydroDog is in the knowledge that the system works, our franchisees are happy doing what they love and are earning what they want to earn. Mostly I enjoy my role of introducing new people to HydroDog and in making franchisees happy and successful.

I have recently taken over management of Southern NSW, from Sydney down to the Victorian border. With this additional area I am now looking after 75 franchisees with quite a few more coming on board shortly. Although all this keeps me busy it is very rewarding and I intend to grow all 3 areas of HydroDog consistently moving forwards. In between times I like to spend as much time as possible with my wife and young family.
